A transgender father, Alice Michael Attwood, has been sentenced to only five years in prison by an Alberta provincial court judge for the brutal stabbing of his two young children.
Someone please tell me how this can be justified. Someone is fined $750,000.00 for saying there are only two genders while another gets 5 years for attempted murder of his two children? My heart goes out to his children and their mother.

That sentence is NOT a deterrent, especially for that kind of extremely violent act. I am absolutely appalled at the state of this country’s justice system. It is a two tiered, dysfunctional disaster.

it appears that our Canadian JUSTICE SYSTEM no longer dispenses reasonable justice. If an individual is considered by a judge as not being NORMAL mentally or otherwise, the accused becomes ENTITLED to a reduced sentence no matter what the crime is that has been committed. Where has our common sense gone?
bring back Capitol punishment then these freaks will think twice about doing horrific things to people let alone innocent children they should be erased from earth
