It is a very slippery slope. I agree that it is not as lovely as they make it out to be. No one really knows for sure what it is like. If the body is paralyzed then you don’t know and never will know if the person is suffering or in any type of discomfort while dying. Dying is inevitable and has been around for centuries. Why are we toying around with it all of a sudden?
I can tell that you have never been in a room or held a loved ones hand that had to be assisted in death. Well I have. In three. One was the hardest because he was the closest to me. And he knew and understood what he was asking and why he was asking to die. And I fully understood why, I had to let him go. I held him in my arms, talked to him about our childhood, and he fell quietly into the abyss. I didn't even realize he had gone until the nurse told me he had passed. Then and only then did I cry and let my baby brother go.
It was the same for the others no struggling as if drowning on their blood etc. They were all quiet, peaceful and then that last deep exhale of air their last breath. Then quiet. And everyone seemed to have a serene face.
I for one have picked assisted death when my time comes. I am also an organ donor. And if my organs are of no help I have left my body to science to do or place where needed for help. If Science can't use it I have requested my remains be cremated.I sure hope when I pass with assisted suicide I don't die like u described. I do hope I pass the way I watched my loved ones passed right in front of my eyes with love ❤️ and in peacefully 💕

The critical care and transplant team has to move quickly obviously. Hopefully the transplant was agreed and coordinated beforehand to prevent organ hypoxia and ensure expediency. If the patient is determined to be brain dead in ie the ER or ICU they could continue to be mechanically ventilated to deliver oxygen to the organs until the recipient is prepped .
Well, we want to be just like China because China's doing such a great job on this. Just ask anyone who's had their organs harvested. Oh, wait. You can't. They're dead.

There has never been a successful organ transplant from a DEAD person. All organ transplants come from living people which is why the term “brain dead” has been utilized in organ harvesting and now they want to legalize the removal of organs from MAID victims who are paralyzed before given the killer drugs……(IF that is what they are given!) who gets to decide if the victim is actually dead? A compromised medical system hungry for the $$$$ they receive from the practice of organ harvesting from otherwise healthy “donors”.
