Maybe time to cut the all first nations across the country off from funding. Time for them to start working for the money and contribute to the society and the country.

Joe Zucchiatti's avatar

Not maybe. We need to end this systemic racism and cut them off all the money and have the penultimate nations contribute to Canada.

Albertans should decide on their future. The way Canada is being governed gives them every reason to leave . Canada is no longer a free country and now Carney wants to take us into the European Union. If that happens we are finished as a country and the 51st state will look more like salvation than an thing to avoid.

Who is paying for their lawyer? Us as usual?

Joe Zucchiatti's avatar

Damn right. We pay for them to fight us in court every time.

Go figure that corrupt chiefs are trying to use the court to thwart democracy and a legal lawful petition process... These chiefs are more worried about keeping their federal money flowing to their personal coffers with zero accountability... That is their main and only worry....

They can't object to direct democracy when nothing has even occurred yet. Eva is correct!

They can talk all they want. We have the signatures. It’s going to a referendum.

Thank you Eva for all you are doing!

Would someone please enlighten me as to what the Indian Nations have ever done to build or enhance Canada, or more specifically Alberta? What have they contributed to Medical, Finance, Building, Construction, Infrastructure or Resource Development? I would like to know, please!

Frankly nothing, except burning down a lot of churches in response to a fictitious "genocide". They did this to a country who tried to educate them, gave them financial social resistance, fed them during hard times, vaccinated and gave them medical assistance for the past 200 plus years during which their population grew from bout 150 - 200 thousand to the present 1.5 plus million. Where is their shame? Probably the same place as our present government.

Oh no, the money might stop flowing to all of the corrupt chiefs who sit around and soak up taxpayer moneys like sponges while contributing nothing to society...

Harold B.'s avatar

Harper proved that when he made them open the books then the Liberals closed them . Why ?

Angela Koskey's avatar

Huh! The corrupt chiefs got nothing better to do? Go fix the water problems that have been paid for many times over and quit wasting our time and money by trying to stifle the democratic rights of the rest of us! Try to remember that everyone gets a vote. Getting scared that your own people are sick of living in squalor while you sit pretty on your blood money? Pathetic oddawa puppets!

I think they should clean up their own mess before interfering in ours!

I guess they must have funds waiting to be spent on this. No matter that the people are living in enforced poverty in some cases. Do they at least have aboriginal lawyers?

When do we get to vote yes for separation

Courts have no power to stop a democratic referendum . The courts should not even review a legal procedure . Quebec had no problem nor should Alberta .
