There is no fix for Canada. It is set up to be grossly unfair to any place outside of upper and lower Canada. They have no incentive or desire to fix the imbalance and they never will. TIME TO LEAVE, before they destroy the entire country.

I support this idea if what was said in this video come to fruition. It seems there is lots of talk but rarely do I see the results of those talks. I agree that Ottawa (Federal Government) has overstepped their authorization and believe they are above the law. This is not the Canada I remember but we as the citizens of Canada need to hold politicians accountable and ensure it is fair for all based on the policies WE ALL VOTED ON, not just the so called political leaders. I have found that in the last 10 years the Liberal Government has gone rogue and are not representative of the Canadian Citizens.

How can you hold government accountable when the RCMP and justice departments are controlled by the Liberal party??

We need to make this issue about much more than economy, equalization payments, etc.

The problem is about much more than process and federal government overreach. Those are only the symptoms of our problem.

We need to abandon the whole Nanny State system, also provincially and reclaim our liberty from the state systems. Alberta has the golden opportunity to start from ground zero and craft our own BRAND NEW Alberta independent Constitution. We want to be done begging for a "fair deal" within a Confederation that was crafted right from the getgo (1905) to screw Western Canada. The Crown Loyalists have always considered Alberta/Western Canada to be the cash cow of the Laurentian Elites.

Please Alberta, don't squander this golden opportunity to be brave, be strong, be smart, and in true Albertan style and resolve blaze a new path and future that will make us the most free, most prosperous nation on the globe. If we forge a new path (Alberta style), we can become the envy of the world. This will take guts, grit and resolve.

Not only is the Federal Government continuing to thwart Alberta and the Western colonies but it has evil intentions to destroy what is left of Canada after the Trudeau era. The huge immigration mess continues to a great lnvasion.

If we are serious and strong, we don't care what the feds think or say. We will just do it. It is our province and our rights of freedom. No federal can stop it if we have a majority agreement to do so. Ottawa has raped us from day one, now they can go stick it to oinktario, or quackbec.

Good luck. Alberta’s main cities are being filled with people who will not agree with the Sovereignty idea, will, wish, intention, etc. etc. etc. If it might happen it would need to happen quickly for the various levels of government will be an anchor to such an eventuality, and by that time you will not have enough votes to move the motion.

I have 2 sets of AB friends and they don't even want to talk about this. They are well educated and switched on people, or so I thought. They think this movement is just a murmur. I hope they are in the wee minority.

Please, when you are reporting or interviewing someone, please, forget about background music! Or turn it way down. I want to hear what is being said, not be entertained by any genre of music.

Thank you.

Hello, as the APP goes around the province, it is important hear what the opposite side is saying. I have become aware that Thomas Lukaszuk, a former Conservative MLA, Cabinet Minister and Deputy Premier has taken the lead to file a counter petition to have Albertans declare their intention to have Alberta stay Forever in Canada.

See which arguments they are bringing that are resonating so well and quickly with people IGNORANT of the news about what is pushing others to see no other way to but to RESTART... See https://canadianshareablenews.substack.com/p/its-debatable-should-alberta-stay

Albertan's need to rid themselves of the multi-party-politcal system. Every riding in Alberta should be electing an independant individual - the best person in their riding; the elected, in turn, will elect the Mayor, yes, the Mayor of the "City of Alberta"; a CITY STATE. The "CITY of London" is a sovergn Country as is the "Vatican CITY". To become a CITY STATE, Albertans need to create a new Flag, and create a new Constitution, that every citizen will sign.

I 100% support AB separation. I hope BC and SK are on board. Two questions: does Lukaszak get priority as he dropped his question first? And because the questions are regarding the same issue, though framed differently, does the second one (APP's) need to have a waiting period? I am arguing with some peeps on FB and these are what they are coming back with.
