A professor from Concordia University recently gave a lecture at the University of Victoria detailing her research, which focused on interviewing dozens of “trans-affirming parents."

One more piece of evidence to show that no matter how much education one obtains it is not a solution for stupid. Gender affirming is just a nice way to say genital mutilation. Do these demons explain before surgery that the person will still be the same sex as they were born, and while they might appear a little different no actual gender change will take place? The American College of Pediatricians just put out a statement calling out all the major medical associations by name for pushing the gender transition craze on kids.
They ask for these groups to "IMMEDIATELY stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex."
Affirming parents: parents who want their children hormonally poisoned and surgically mutilated. But instead of having their children whisked away to safety, these monsters get to keep them and bask in the adulation of the equally brainwashed.
I would question the reason(s) that these parents go all in on gender affirming. Is there a reason that they can't wait a few years until their child has become an adult for the family to make this life altering decision? Is there a reason they can't support their kid in the years prior to a final decision being made? Is it really the parent pushing the gender thing or the child?
Perhaps in some cases, but in others, the parents are mentally ill, kind of like Munchausen By Proxy syndrome, a serious mental disorder where Parents (caregivers) fake, exaggerate, or cause illness in their children for attention & sympathy, and it is considered child abuse! Yet the Dr's allow and promote "gender affirming "care"? I believe the Drs are also the abusers!
Even though suicide risk goes up after the transition! I know a child that had been going through this for 10 years and they are absolutely miserable and depressed! If only they could accept themselves as they are!
I think it's outside influences on the child who then brings it home & the parents are being forced to accept this nonsense because the kid "might" commit suicide when in actual fact, they're more likely to commit suicide AFTER TRANSITIONING because they realize they've been lied to.
Manning demanded structural change at Concordia and is getting it. They're looking at massive financial losses and layoffs....or bankruptcy. Maybe she's hoping to jump the sinking ship and UVic will hire her (without UVic checking what her "structural change" and critical studies brand does to a university).
