So..we have an "elected" prime minister and his gang members ripping Canada apart..Muslim terrorists all over the country (along with Chinese "police" camps)..Big grocery blatantly ripping us off..."scientists" insisting we MUST eliminate Carbon from the atmosphere...our education system run by perverts...our news media with the lowest viewership in history amassing the wealth of a small nation..a VERY Liberal Elections Canada cult..hundreds of illegal, unlicensed, untrained foreigners driving tractor trailers on our roads...'Trudeau towns' literally everywhere...Food bank lineups longer than a Taylor Swift concert..and all of the above accusing the Conservatives of "war mongering" and insisting Canada isn't broken!! This would make an excellent apocalypse novel!!!?

...perhaps it's time most of us start contributing some "chapters" to this novel..and play a part in its conclusion!!??..

You've summed this up quite well Don. I have the same feelings about this, even though I'm not Catholic nor a member of any Christian organization. But this thing bothers me just as much as anyone with an ounce of decency.

I also wonder if anyone has checked out what is taught in the Mosques and Muslim schools? Is anyone reading the material that children are taught regarding those who are not followers of their cult? I doubt it. The World Caliphate may begin with my lifetime, and I am 90!!! Scary thought!!! Remember, it isn't just Jews and Israel they are after!!!

First let me congratulate you on making it to 90. You would likely have gone from horse drawn to modern aircraft travel. I have, but not quite as experienced as you. As for what's being taught in those schools you can bet that it isn't anything close to what public system is teaching.

I was an elementary teacher for over 25 years in Scarborough. We were very culturally mixed. (The word multicultural is not an acceptable word and more). To me all children, regardless of colour, gender, etc. were extensions of my own family. I had them share their background, we celebrated holidays and festivals of a those traditions in their home, including my own background, Jewish. We had luncheons supplied by the eager parents that contained foods of all nations. The children were introduced to gefilte fish and even a good Jewish Chicken soup, and potato latkes for Hanukah! But most of we learned to accept all. I had the following on my blackboard: The Magic Words are Please, Thank You, You're Welcome and I'm sorry!! We had a friendship tree on a side blackboard and when a child saw someone do something special for another, in the classroom or school yard, they would write it down and place it one tree. In other words, being polite and kind was emphasized daily. We also learned math, reading, and all the basic subjects as required for each grade level. I was not their "friend", but I was their teacher, and I did what a I could to be there when a child had a problem in school, or at home.

I am not bragging, but as far as I knew most all of the teachers in my schools were attempting to do the same things to make each child feel they have a safe place where the adult in the room set a standard or boundary, and encouraged by example that the children could appreciate and understand. Today, I still have friends who are in the classroom, and they feel that the children are in charge, the attitude is that the teacher is just someone who makes them do what the children don't want to do. Recently, I was chatting with a woman who was in a Grade 3 class for three days while the regular teacher was receiving some medical treatment. The children made it know that they will only do what they want to do. After the first horrific hour or so, she sat in a chair, and began to read in a very soft voice, a story. The pupils were chatting, drawing, and acting out. Over the first few minutes she was just reading the book and gradually, within 15 minutes, the children were all sitting and listening. As the story was ending, she stopped. Two more pages, and to go. The class was yelling, finish the book. But instead, she said that she wanted them to finish the story. Eagerly, each child went to their desks, and for about 20 minutes, silence was reigning, as each child wrote their ending to the story. She collected all the papers, and promised that she would read them and they would discuss them the next day. Now, she said, it is time to take out your math book and they did. Her three days turned out to be very productive, considering the daily plan book left had little of no detail for the supply teacher. When the regular teacher returned, she noticed immediately the atmosphere was completely changed. She called the supply teacher, and she asked what she did. I thought her reply would be positive, but the regular teacher was upset, stating the children were not acting "normally", and she was quite upset. If chaos is the atmosphere in class rooms, it is not going to improve the academic achievement, but we will have encampments, street yelling, and no positive leadership which is already a part of our democratic countries. This is so sad, but I am grateful my own daughters and their children had better schooling. They are amazing in their fields. Children have the right to be educated well, without the pressure from Woke minded instructors, Boards of Education, and Government officials.

It was good to read your little story, and I appreciate it. It appears that you was a good teacher. And that is what most parents expect when they sent their children to school. It would be nice to have that system back in schools today. But what we are dealing with today is a totally different climate. Schools are being flooded with foreign students making it very hard to cope with a teaching program. That surely must bring down the quality of education.

Ironically, Justin Trudeau even TOLD the NY Times, in a 2015 interview , that "Canada is the world's first Post National State"..!!..and very few picked up on it..he also said in another interview BEFORE he was "elected" ..."I've always admired China"...so here we are..

Yup..and the only way the Libs were able to stall for time to achieve this endgame was have Jagmeet Singh back them to avoid getting voted outta parliament by Poilievre..One day, I hope to personally meet that "Corrupt Bastard" , call him THAT to his face..and express my displeasure to him on behalf of our ancestors/ friends/ relatives who fought/ died to build and defend Canada. (Occasionally, even Karma needs a nudge).

That would put a smile on my face. And you pin it with that zinghead. I'm figuring that the liberals were paying him to keep propping them up. As you may have noticed how he always said one thing to the media, and did the opposite in the HOC. Totally contradicting himself. That's for sure one reason why he lost his eat.

It's far too late, and the Catholics are complicit as they openly and willing suck money from the taxpayer to fund their school system that has no biblical grounds the last pope was a prime example of how corrupt the Catholic system has become.

Biblical morals and wealth don't go hand in hand. Much like the United, English and Anglican churches they like to black out sections of the Bible that don't fit their narratives.

That is where the Boards of Education have fallen down, as well as our Canadian Immigration department. What is needed are more ESL teachers who work with small groups of students, not for an hour a day, if that, but for most of each day, until the child(ren) have a comfort level with English of French in Quebec. I have friends who have taken extra courses in ESL and they are taken from those positions to teach in regular classrooms. As the Immigration: parents and children should be given lessons in the language of the new country before they leave their own. (I know some are refugees, many of who want to return to their country of origin when it is possible. That is another concern. But for immigrants who have made the decision to leave their homeland, they should be mandatory classes in the new language before they received the travel documents. A working knowledge is more than just hello, goodbye, etc. Basic vocabulary should be a must. Refugees should be offered classes and living accommodations, not on the streets. When the children have a basic knowledge, off to public school. I have heard that some children are actually taught in their own language in our public schools. How is that helping them acclimatize in their new homeland? Thankfully, the new Minister of Education in Ontario is fighting against the renaming of schools in Toronto, and the huge amount of money could help the schools with major repairs, as well as hiring and using ESL teachers as they should be used. No more Wokeism, no more changing names, and no more rewriting our history. We are human and our early founders were human, and errors were made, and believe me, we are still making errors. In 50 years or less, today's actions will be criticized. That's ok, if things are better then they are now!!!!

It's past time for Canadians to "wake up" to the Gov't Tyranny surrounding us and destroying our beloved country that is no longer recognizable. "Ostriches" do not win battles - hide from them thinking the storm will pass them by - Nope!.... not a chance. Stand up and fight back Canadians!
