Smith is right again. The Liberal Premier Ford should worry about his own province, especially after yesterday's mtg in the oval office where the snake Carney has shown the world how to " handle " Trump. The elbows up gang that believed the snake have been duped by the Liberals once again.

Blanchet was correct when he stated that Canada is a fake nation created for the benefit of Ontario. It is time to leave.

"Let me repeat: Europe (and Canada-FK) has become a full-fledged liberal dictatorship. Not long ago, many scoffed at the idea, claiming liberalism could never be dictatorial or totalitarian. Yet today, we can all clearly see what a liberal dictatorship and liberal totalitarianism truly are. This regime ignores the democratic will of the people, branding political opponents as “far-right” and “extremist,” violating all democratic norms." - Alexander Dugin.

A spot at the trough is correct my friend. But you are too polite. This blatant wealth distribution is nothing more than Marxism/Communism. I wonder if Canadians really see what has happened to our country.

I do! But not enough others do. They're to busy watching hockey or something other than what's important. Th commie way "divide and conquer". That's done by diverting peoples attention, like the election using Trump's tariffs and backed up by the lying msm.

Danielle Smith has opened the gate for Alberta citizens to take control of Their government and province rather than under the federal thumb. If Albertans are too stupid to run through that open gate they deserve to live with carnage. The equity tax will take away your home and all of your hard earned savings. You will have nothing and be happy. The federal government says so. With the push from the WEF. This last election pointed out how stupid some people are and who they are listening to. Danielle Smith is for Albertans.

Ford is terrified of Alberta leaving Confederation. No more Alberta money handed to Ontario or Quebec. His province under his leadership has huge debt tonpay off!

If I lived in Alberta I would give some serious thought about this. What an opportunity. If they go I am moving there.

Eternal optimism is not a business plan. I'd like to know Premier Smith's specific plans (beside lawsuits) for dealing with the multitude of Quebec and Federal roadblocks. I don't see anyway of squaring the circle.

You've missed a lot of what she has done. Like making a constitution and allowing us to decide on a future. Fighting tooth and nail against the illegal laws made to harm Alberta. That's a lot of action towards fending off ottawa to protect us from their harm. It can't be any clearer.

Wayne Neville's avatar

Yes - I haven't missed it. She has done a lot - but she has been unable to fend off the harm. That's is why there is an issue now. Until she is willing to champion an actual remedy these problems will persist and Albertans will become ever more agitated.

I would say you're more anxious then I am. I know I can hardly wait. But you know things like that take time, as they must follow proper procedures. And they must be cautious not to make any mistakes, and that can happen if you try rush it. I believe they have done more than what has been said. We must wait for that.
