I appreciate Smith’s commitment to Alberta but doubt that Ottawa will ever bend as long as the Libs “rule and reign.” The “CON”federation was designed for the results it wants- the east will forever milk the West dry. It is time to separate and let those provinces that want to forge their own future be free to do so. Lead the way, Alberta!
The talking heads can offer as many suggestions to make equalization fair as they want, but nothing will change until Alberta leaves Canada. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We have had no change for over 50 years, so what makes them think it will now? NEVER, NEVER NEVER? The system is built against Alberta.
