U.S. President Donald Trump’s Republican Party has booted CBC/Radio-Canada from an upcoming convention amid backlash over its controversial 9/11 “terrorism” policy.
I don’t know what is going through the minds of Canadian liberals or the CBC and why they cannot/will not label the 9/11 as what it is a terrorist attack on the United States? I am a Canadian citizen and I am completely embarrassed by the liberal crime minister and CBC.
If I were going back to UBC for another Master's I'd use Canadians' obsession, fixation, with the CBC for a psychiatric thesis. I view anyone who irrationally 'believes in' the CBC as damaged goods, psychiatrically speaking. How did they become so damaged? That's another story!
I am 85 and can remember a time after the war when they were quite rational or we thought they were as they were the only game in town. We all liked Foster Hewitt and his hockey night in Canada until we got TV and could not equate his narrative to what we saw. They like our recent PM do not seem to have any emotional intelligence.

I'd aliken them to Radio Berlin during World War 2, or Radio Moscow, during the communist era.
