You are right to call this BS. The Indigenous and European cultures are not separate. In the most important ways, they merged almost 500 years ago, when the first Europeans showed up. Should European descendants stop eating corn? Should Indigenous people stop riding horses? Should we all stop riding on trains because they were invented in Scotland?
This is a sinister agenda to brainwash these young impressionable students into believing their are colonialists, racists and pretty much every other disparaging false label that the far left wing woke lunatic teachers are trying to instill in our kids.....This is insideous, devious and needs to be investigated by the authorities....

The teachers' unions share some of the blame, but what happens in the classrooms is largely decided by the government. In Ontario where I live, the provincial government makes decisions about education through the Ministry of Education. Most directives go down to the school boards. From there they go to the schools through meetings with principals or other directives. If the government wanted this stopped, it would be stopped immediately. (I'm a retired teacher.)
The gvt is working hand in hand with the marxist teachers union, so it is teachers that choose their union personnel that are to blame. I guess we have to say that the ontario gvt is leaning toward marxist style gvt as well, they don't get off the hook. Samething across Canada, especially in bc.
