Ottawa will delay comments and decisions until after the Oct. 19 vote, and then if Question 10 goes the way they want, they will ignore the Court Decision and pursue their own unconstitutional agenda and NOTHING will change for Alberta. Albertans had better smarten up and use Oct. 19 to their advantage.

Carney continues to be nothing but a crooked Liberal fully supporting the useless Trudeau regime! Thousands of good honest working men and women were forced into intentional poverty by the crooked Liberal government shutdown of the oil industry in Alberta! The Crooked Trudeau government caused thousands to lose their jobs, businesses, homes and every cent of savings! Why is Carney so dishonest to Canadians and still supporting our useless Trudeau idiot!

They want to regulate pipelines? Remember Lac Megantic Quebec! The Feds cant regulate the crap coming out of their own butt holes. I find it odd that there are condos and homes and so-called rental apartment buildings going up all over the place. You know, spanking new buildings where old historical buildings used to be. There is all this money and no doubt corruption going into that but the roads that pass by these ugly Stalinesque glass and steel blocks look like a bombed out line of communications leading to the Somme battlefield. Yes these are Municipal and Provincial responsibilities but the money is supposed to trickle down. So pipeline projects etc. are suppose to help with these things. I know their tactic is to try and lock everyone up in the cities, invite foreigners to live in these monstrosities who cant afford them and make everyone take the bus or their new broken down LRT lines. Alberta should simply ignore that Ottawa exits. It would be in the best interest of all so-called Canadians to ignore that Ottawa exists esp when paying taxes. I was in Ottawa and they have a base set up to build the west-end LRT that would make US military bases that used to exist in the ME look that a childrens camp. The base of LRT operations is actually bigger than the project itself. That shows government corruption. The completely corrupt construction companies have entrenched themselves and that is why these crap projects take years and years while the roads reduce your vehicle to scrap iron. People need to wake up that you are getting screwed every-which-way from Sunday. When you drive through rich neighborhoods in Canada most of those people are either criminals working within the federal/provincial system or people involved with contracts involving various levels of government. In short ASSHOLES who got rich on YOUR tax $$$$$. I am all for cheaper and more efficient energy as long as its not another one of these scams. The people against these pipelines are hypocrites because even the underwear they blow their hot air out of contains some form of petroleum product. They are not just hypocrites they are morons.

Maybe Smith can now stop kissing Carney's a-- and why would the liberals care about the ruling they have shown many times they don't care about the rule of law. Canada is fucked.

Liberals are averse to oversight when they’re the ones under scrutiny. Their aim is to secure as much control as possible. They use it to kill and delay projects by miring them in unreasonable regulatory compliance, while pandering to natives and American-funded green groups, or as a tool of political coercion.

Because he was the man behind Trudeau for at least the last five years of Justin’s reign of terror. Justin made him his advisor. Covid 19 yup that was Carney. Freezing of bank accounts again the banker was advising. Carney didn’t just get here, Justin was managed. Carney was his handler. Remember Justin was a drama teacher.

A 4–1 ruling against the 2024 amendments makes it tough for Ottawa to argue the Supreme Court's concerns were already handled. Justice Feehan's dissent gives the federal side something to appeal on, though another round would add years of uncertainty for any pipeline or mine sitting in the queue. The timing stands out too. With Washington licensing Russian diesel this week to cover a supply shock, North America's ability to move and refine its own oil looks like a security question as much as an economic one. Every major Canadian project that stalls in court leaves more room for barrels from Moscow or the Gulf in Western markets. Worth watching whether Carney's government accepts the ruling or heads back to the Supreme Court.
