Federal NDP MP Heather McPherson posted a video holding a mug reading "F*** your fascist pancakes," while Alberta NDP MLA Janis Irwin referenced the slogan in a pancake breakfast post.
It is a shame that these politicians have decided to support this person with a history of attacking people that do not share her views. Respectful conversation is welcome, attacks are not. It tells you what kind of people these politicians are and who you should not vote for.

The real tragedy here is that these are adults, or at least pretend to be. And presumably with some level of education. Someone should ask them to explain the actual meaning of fascist, as laid out by the political movement's principal architects in Italy post-WWI, Benito Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile, who promoted the idea of an avowedly a totalitarian state where individual liberties were subordinated to the collective, the "common will" of the Italian people. I don't hear any language like that from the Conservatives, nor most Liberals for that matter.
