I wrote a commentary earlier about the real reasons behind firearm confiscation. What I didn't add, mostly for brevity, is that everyone should realize we are sovereign individuals. We never consented to give to any government, large or small, authority over us. Laws for this or that, licenses to drive, fish, hunt or any other freedom of choice activity. We elect certain people to manage our infrastructure and to oversee "fairplay" in how business and industry operate and how their activities affect us in our daily lives... but not to be ruled by them!

But the system of governance has been so corrupted over time, and authoritarianism has so permeated our society, that we have forgotten who we are. The ones who control us are far fewer than the rest of us, and we need to stop giving them our power. We need to stop being complacent and compliant and just say NO! This is how we assert our sovereignty. RM

I agree, I am conservative, but all politicians are guilty of corruption in Canada in the past 50 to 60 years...

We are from the government and we are here to help you. Lol Does no one remember Chretien's Gun Registry program...."In 1995, when Jean Chretien’s Liberal government introduced Bill C-68 creating a long-gun registry, Canadians were promised it would lower crime and only cost taxpayers $2 million dollars. We now know, this wasteful program cost Canadians an estimated $2 billion dollars."

Chretien was a CCP sympathizer just like Turdeau's "father".

Chretien just went to China to smooth the way for Carney next week...

Why are we dealing with China at all?

I realize Carney is CCP compromised but why emulate a failing dictatorial regime?

I was in China in 2005 and it was way worse than you can imagine...

Sadly, many, well most, don't t realize this. Further, they have no desire to educate themselves on this. That said, Chretien WAS a Liberal, the current crop using the name are not. It is more necessary to educate Canadians on this point on most others.

So many say that Canadian Liberals and US Democrats are not the party of their grandfathers. I believe that to be partially true. I have voted Liberal in the past but I thought that Martin and Turner would do something for me and mine. Perhaps that could be said of all political parties...I get more jaundiced daily.

It is clearly obvious to the Liberals that the rifle confiscation is failing mainly due to underfunding. A few billion more should double the numbers of rifles to 50.

Some guy in Cape Breton got a cheque for half of what his AR cost, no way to appeal, nobody to talk at...

Be prepared to get buggered...

Carney and Anandasangaree are a pair of dimwits...

With that kind of money flowing around, I expect that the FN will come up with some kind of firearms plan to get their hands on more taxpayer money.....

The Liberals are in full "accomplish the W.E.F. AGENDA" mode. They do not represent me, or Canadians. Accomplished liars and frauds they are. I never expect to hear the truth from them. Pouring tax dollars out like water, they are the epitome of the term "losers". Not to mention the fact that they are frantically trying to depopulate the country. I think I'll keep my guns, and make sure that "crime does not pay" for them. As for Quebec... if they are dumb enough to give up their guns to a criminal organization, they should leave the country, and stop wasting Canada's money on Liberal schemes.
