So much is obviously screamingly wrong with the Canadian immigration and entire legal system - that this man is not still in jail, for instance, or not deported from the moment he stepped out of prison.

Start with: killing 16 people and given an 8 year sentence and THEN only serving 3. This guy has to go, his wife & kids can stay or go, not Canada's problem, we have welfare for that.

The whole family needs to be deported in this case and any other serious criminal conviction. The risks have to be great in order to prevent criminal behaviour in the immigrant population. Those who don't commit offenses, have nothing to worry about. Those who do, the whole family needs to go back with no opportunity for re-entry.

That won't work. This will be used as a threat to control people. I can just see it now. Person extorting their family for decades on the threat they will have them all deported by going to jail. The actual criminal they have to go.I don't care if your children are here or your whole day family! No you won't be serving your time in our already burden joke of a prison system. No you can not appeal to stay in the country. I'd rather my tax dollars go towards a one way ticket home instead of a warm place to sleep & food in their belly.

Like I said before the moment the cell door opened , he should have gone directly to the plane and sent off . 3 years is a bad joke for killing all those people . He had 70 past infractions to his driving record over a very short span .

This Islamic killer needs to be exported back to his country of origin. Wife and kids too! There are 16 families here in our own country of Canada that will never see their son again, that will never recover or be the same again! There is no sorrow or remorse shown by this immigrant infidel! He now is brazenly refusing to leave our country, but instead puts himself and his own quickly conceived family first! Canadian law has already dealt with his unconscionable killing. Enough is enough!

Milford, now 54, was one of 42 contract workers for Syncrude on a bus headed to Edmonton from Fort McMurray when a semi truck slammed into the driver’s side, killing six and injuring 30 in May 2005 on Highway 28. Three died on scene, while three died later in hospital.he suits blame truck driver Inderjit Singh Virk, from Brampton, Ont., and allege his company and the Ontario company that owned the truck failed to maintain its brakes.

On April 6, 2018, 15 people were killed and 13 were injured when a northbound coach bus struck a westbound semi-trailer truck that blew through a stop sign near Armley, Saskatchewan, Canada. The driver of the truck had failed to yield at a flashing stop sign at the intersection of Saskatchewan Highways 35 and 335 while driving at a speed of approximately 100 km/h (62 mph). Most of the deceased and injured were players from the Humboldt Broncos, a junior ice hockey team from Humboldt, Saskatchewan, which plays in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).The truck driver who caused the deadly Humboldt Broncos bus crash has applied to have his permanent resident status returned.   The Immigration and Refugee Board issued a deportation order in May for Jaskirat Singh Sidhu and his permanent resident status was revoked

A Punjabi asylum seeker who killed a 23-year-old woman in a fatal truck accident was handed a mere 55-day jail sentence and a light fine by a Caledon court, sparking outrage from the victim’s loved ones and advocates.  Rajwinder Singh, 43, pleaded guilty on October 15, 2025, to killing Adrianna Milena McCauley in a fatal four-vehicle collision in Bolton, Ontario, on September 10, 2024. Singh drove into an intersection approximately 10 seconds after the traffic light had turned red.

THIS comment #truth!

We all know it. So many illegal driving schools. The temple promise their families that they will sponsor them to Canada. Give them a job. Except Singhs uncle has a bs trucking school & knows jaurpreet from the ministry of transportation will license them. So now you've got someone behind the wheel who knows nothing and their scared of what Singh, the temple and Jaurpreet will do to their families. #2 Singh,Jaurpreet don't give a dam and they know Canada is a joke and heck let's just put 5 guys in a truck drive 24/7 Then complain that rasciam is why it's so hard here! As they undercut every job, Doctor log books and hand out AZ DZ licenses like popcorn at a movie theater. We don't talk about that. It's offensive and that's the problem. Facts and logic are now offensive. Funny how that works.

We forget that Trudeau declared Canada a post national state and the liberals and judiciary behave like it truly is. Part of that declaration is the assumption that all peoples of the world have the intrinsic, legal right to reside in Canada. Canada = world, world = Canada. Hence open immigration, keeping everyone including criminals and turning a blind eye to racism and terrorism since immigrants can’t be racist and terrorism is just a form of expression.

The law is very clear about getting deported and there can be no exceptions. He made the decision to blast through that stop sign and with that decision comes consequences. Because of this decision 16 young people lost their lives. The accident happened on April 6, 2018, on March 22,2019 Sidhu plead guilty to dangerous driving and did not argue for a plea bargain which was good advice given him. In January 2023 was granted full parole after 6 months of day parole. If Sidhu was convicted of Dangerous Driving that causes death which is a strictly indictable offence with a maximum jail term of life. My question is what was the actual charge brought against Sidhu? In less than 4 years Sidhu is out on full parole. The appropriate charge would have been Criminal Negligence that causes death with a maximum of life imprisonment.

In either case Dangerous Driving that causes death or Criminal Negligence causing death both carry a maximum of life imprisonment. Again, what was the actual charge brought against Sidhu?

There are a number of questions I need clarification on to set the record straight. (1) How many times did Sidhu

travel down that road prior to the accident? (2) How many times has Sidhu blasted through that stop sign without stopping prior to the accident? (3) He has 70 recorded offences on his record, do you for one moment think this was an accident caused by not paying attention?

Sidhu spent less than 4 years incarcerated. Now he is requesting on humanitarian grounds, to be allowed to stay in Canada. Now he is making us as the bad guys for wanting him deported without any consideration for the 16 lost lives and for the suffering that the parents must endure for the rest of their lives.

Unreal! Pay the price for his arrogance and go quietly taking his family with him.

Well he seems to have an appropriate name ... a Jaski-rat !

Don't have concerns though; If he stays here, I'm sure some rat killer will "un-alive him pretty soon.

unfortunately Canada has become the dumbest country in the developed world!

He was rightfully charged and convicted of the crime of murder; the law is explicit he must be deported, he deserves nothing less, otherwise the families of the victims of his crime are the ones being sentenced to a life without their children, which translates into the fact that the liberals and their soft on crime policies are not in step with what Canadians think and want!

Sidhu Singh has PTSD? What about all the families with PTSD and grief, loss, sorrow, due to his reckless disregard for obeying traffic rules in Canada while driving a massive rig??? That the CBC portrays him as a poor suffering guy is wrong on so many levels. Immigration must act. Now.
