The last paragraph says it all, its not just this minister but the leadership from the PM downward. And what about the rest of this party in Parliament, does any of them have any self respect or fortitude to say or do something. Over the past year following closely the performance of this government, I have come to 2 conclusions. One, they do not care anything about this Country and as long they are in power they get a nice wage (1/4 million per annum plus expenses - the highest the democratic world) and a juicy pension after 6 years. The other, pardon the vulgarity, none of them can find their backsides with both hands. Probably a good "dash" of both. My children and grand children and yours have very little to look forward to in the future.
The advantage is tremendous. One can move back and forth across the border when it's economically feasible, such as when one wants to work in the oil sands. Then there's unfettered access to Canadian health care and drugs. One can use both country's systems as necessary. The advantage is being able to rape Canada without living in it. I worked briefly with a Somili in the oil sands who acquired dual-citizenship in the US due to his brother from--surprise, Minnesota. He told me he worked all the overtime he could and within two years purchased a brand new house for his brother. A liberal caused downturn in the Canadian sector is of little consequence when he can sim[ly fly to Texas and resume his career.
And he wasn't the only one. The other guys from similar origins like Egypt told me they were here for one thing only-money. Not refugees fleeing for their lives, but economic migrants who are here to suck as much out of the system that they can take. They are not Canadians and never will be. Nor do they share most of our values as we're exploited for our generosity and stupidity.

The following scam was perpetrated on Vegas decades ago as well. One of these people he knows goal was to build up the perfect credit rating. He saved everything, exercised his credit cards, and then the day came when he'd established himself as an exceptional individual in which a bank would lend money to. Long story short-he got his million dollar plus loan and fled the country back to India. Another happy ending. As Dr. Saad has stated, the Arabic saying that the West is to be mounted like a woman-better described as a prostitute, certainly applies.

I agree Ihat Canada and other countries have been enriched by other cultures who bring the best of their traditions to share with us. I also agree that not all Muslims are alike..
