Smith called it a “good day for Alberta” and the rest of the country.

Carney called it a "good day for Brookfield and my investment portfolio"

It’s a good deal for Carney, not so much for Albertans.

The environmental damage that these terms and conditions will have some serious impact on our environment as well.

Alberta independence is the only path forward that makes sense.

I have no desire to make Carney any more wealthier than he already is.

He is the snake in the grass.

Beware!!!

I believe you are correct!

Angela Koskey's avatar

Absolutely not interested in con-carney's pipeline to communist markets. Much too little and far too late!

ALBERTA INDEPENDENCE RFN!!

Carney must buy new shoes every week cuz he wears them out dragging his feet..whatta dick!!

Don, glad to see you still have your humor.

Don's avatar

lololol..ya...Carney can't tax us on that...yet..how you been??

I have been taken life slower and trying to stay clear of all the politics. It gets me down. I have to deal with medical issues as well. That's one of my main reasons for cutting my subscription with Juno. They are a pretty good news source, and power to them for a successful future. I hope you're doing well.

Don's avatar

You too, my friend..and it DOES get to all of us having Carney playing his games..(wish someone wud teach him Russian Roulette !!!..🤠 )

Not going to happen. Mr. Net Zero speaks with a forked tongue, he has proven that he can't be trusted. His loyalty "lies" with Brookfield to make himself richer and with the WEF to dismantle Canada. Infrastructure accomplishments scoreboard after over a year in office....zero. Benefits to Canada....with blinding speed never seen before...higher inflation, unemployment and housing prices.

J Holden's avatar

Right. Just Carney delay tactics.

Gwen Hodge's avatar

More lies how can you believe anything from the current politicians!

Herb DeMars's avatar

What BS! No pipeline will ever be built. Carney and his cohorts just want more money and more for their ridiculous climate change BS. Carney should go to China and tell them to stop building dirty coal burning plants!!! Alberta Independence is the only way out of this house of horrors led by a man who has not lived in Canada and has his family and business in the USA whom he supposedly hates!!! God help us all!

{Logan} Untitled's avatar

I will believe this when it happens. But in meantime Smith got put off once again with another of conman's lies. There was nothing written in stone. And there was no promise of ended the tanker ban, nor was there any agreement from the coastal indians.

Don's avatar

That's why Trump and Danielle signed their pipeline deal thru the northern states..

{Logan} Untitled's avatar

Is that the one conman is talking about. The pipeline to the coast through the USA. LOL

Don's avatar

Yup..that's why Carney's so antsy with Smith..much of the pipeline is existing..and they've got the pipes laying around from when Biden cancelled Keystone years ago..and Trump's all in..👍

I’m all in too…in fact I would much rather be the 51 first than put up with this bullshit from Con Carney. At least they have someone with balls and the spine to get things done!👍 Smith better have a plan up her sleeve, and a good one because I’m getting a little nervous with her cozying up to Carney! A year and a quarter to a “maybe we’ll think about it” when in the same time a pipeline will be in operation to avoid the strait of Hormuz!😳

Start the construction in September 2027. To a Politician, fast tracking means a totally different meaning compared to the private sector. Slothful or snail's pace construction describes this plan.

Alberta gets it in the ear once again. Why not start construction this summer?

All blue's avatar

You spelled “ear” wrong, there’s an “r” in front also!

Anna's avatar

At this point, it doesn’t matter. Alberta should still separate.

Harold B.'s avatar

They have to because he will shut them down . They will be phased out and many will have to leave Alberta to survive .

Barbara Lee's avatar

Won’t happen. I think she should team up with Trump and he’ll get it done before November elections!

Darcy Robertson's avatar

Still a year and a half away from maybe starting…what a crock of sh#t, projects implemented at blinding speed my arse!

Gary's avatar

I will reiterate, I do not trust this government. And will not until the oil is flowing to the coast will i believe it. There are too many obstacles, the major one being our aboriginal brothers and sisters and Premier Eby. How much of a "cut" do they get to allow this project to proceed.

And what does alberta have to give up? The biggest carbon capture in canada? Only one to profit from that is Brookfield! And what about the biggest AI database in canada, right here in alberta!! Is that why Daniel wants more reservoirs?? Maybe this also needs to go on the referendum? These would ruin the beauty of this province...

WatZ_In_Ur_Head?'s avatar

The "Con" is fully on.

I call BS on the feds approving and constructing, any new pipelines.

Debra Seymour's avatar

Brookfield is invested in several companies focused on carbon capture and sustainable fuels. Its most notable Canadian investment in this space is Entropy Inc., a company that retrofits heavy industry. Carney will drag his feet until he makes sure the oil companies have to hire his companies for this carbon capture before he lets it happen. I which Danielle would get a deal with the US and just make it happen now. They are ready and have given the okay. We have to stop letting Crook Carney from having anymore power.

Hilarious. That's like the Iranians saying that they will never enrich uranium.
