These postal workers are completely out of touch with the reality of Canada and postal service. Close it down and provide postal service only to rural areas where private companies do not serve.

13% wage increase, almost more sick days, holidays, personal days than working days. Outrageous! This contract is exactly reflective of all public sector UNION contracts. Unfortunately for these "not to bright" workers - they're going to bankrupt their employer and be out of a job. Everyone needs to realize this is a gov't-backed, as in taxpayer-backed, contract. The federal gov't back-stops all of these "promises". If every Cnd was guaranteed UPS delivery of every piece of mail it would cost us less!! There must be a better way.

They haven't had a contract for at least a year. This does seem generous though for an org in financial trouble. CUPW has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Liberals for years. Unfortunately this payout for services rendered may just put Canada Post under.

Put this dinosaur in a museum. It is no longer relevant.

Lets make it a permanent strike. The courier people do a better job for the same money.

unfortunately another set of greedy, unaccountable government workers. If it's close to insolvency, then let it die, and make it private and competitive. Save our tax dollars, not CUPW.

These people have held us hostage periodically for most of my 67 years. Enough. Either disband this unreliable, discontent group of grifters or fire and hire people that want a job.
