Well, if Safeway isn't willing to fly Alberta's flag, I guess Albertans aren't welcome in their stores.

Well, they must be ashamed of Alberta if a store in the province can’t fly an Alberta flag. Until recently the Canadian flag was a symbol of good things like freedom but these same idiots hated it when people protested for that freedom to be returned to us. They are so brainwashed they go the way the wind blows. Now it is good to fly the Maple Leaf to show they’re patriotic because they hate Trump and the Alberta flag is bad. The Canada today that the Liberals have ruined is not the Canada I knew. Sorry the truth hurts. Alberta has always stood up for its citizens but I can’t say the same thing about Canada’s government

. Our freedoms and way of life have been literally trampled on by an authoritarian government put in power by low-information voters who have no clue what the ramifications are. By the time they realize they are living under the strict control of a Soviet-style regime it will be too late. It is death of this country by a thousand cuts. I will never forget the sight of Trudeau’s horses trampling Canadians in Ottawa who were fighting for freedom from a belligerent and authoritarian government. How can any thinking person support this?

Unbelievable, how anyone could be offended by a flag! These people are the problem in society, with all their hurt feelings and such...If it wasn't for people like Thomas Lukaszyk, there would likely be very little division in Canada. The very reason Alberta would like to separate is people like Lukaszuk who can't go through life without poking his emotions into spaces and places and flag's! If you read this Thomas Lukaszuk, I am do not want to see Alberta separate and you do not speak for me and many others with my sentiment, you are an emotional fool and you likely have gender derangement dysphoria, a Karen trying to be a man!

If companies want to do business in Alberta they should fly the Alberta flag and take a stand against bullies.

Somebody (possibly everybody) needs to give their head a shake and a scratch! Ask themselves this: What is it about an Alberta flag; hanging in an Albertan business; for all Albertans who enter said business to enjoy and feel pride in cause such severe distress and upset to a small group of politically “active” individuals. to the point that they erupt like a volcano and bully said business into removing said flag “immediately” because it offends them so deeply. Since when was the flag of Alberta representative of anything other than the Canadian province of Alberta, it’s beauty, it’s natural m

Lukaszuk is an imposture, a phony. He 's taken the progressive conservative brand illegally. Trying to make out his self importance. Any store or business thar takes down the Alberta flag will not get my business. After that point, they can close their doors and leave. These lefties have gone off the deep end. The battle has just begun.

This flag removal stunt just shows that the Thomas Lukaszuk group is composed of intolerant, cancel culture fools and in no way merits any support from ordinary Albertans. Best thing that could happen is that he does not get enough signatures for his referendum petition. I sure as Hell won't be signing it. I hope you won't either.

I know one thing for sure, I will not be shopping in Safeway. If Sobeys and Chalo choose to do the same I will boycott them also. This not acceptable for these grocers to be anti Alberta because of some so called politician.

And to, these grocery stores are selling Alberta food products and Alberta made products. They are not proud of the product. Perhaps the Alberta producers should stop selling them.

That’s crazy! All businesses should be proud to display their provincial flag and it’s shameful that anyone should politicize and pressure anyone about displaying it regardless of which side of the issue. It’s bullying behaviour and says a lot about the people doing the bragging imo.

Since when was the flag of Alberta representative of anything less than the Canadian province of Alberta, yes Alberta is a Canadian province. Last I checked, there was room in Alberta (and Canada) for a diverse number of viewpoints that are often at odds with each other. Don’t blame the flag or the business owner for your differences of opinion. What a sad statement to have to make. Now, really? And someone is proud that their bullying lead to the removal of the one symbol that represent all Albertans.
