On Thursday, Premier Jason Kenney announced that the Alberta government would begin offering grants for businesses that have been successfully coerced into implementing vaccine passports to keep their businesses afloat.

According to a news release, the government will soon offer a one-time payment of $2,000 to Alberta small- and medium-sized businesses that are eligible for and choose to implement the Restrictions Exemption Program, requiring proof of vaccination, a negative COVID test, or can prove they have a medical exemption.

Additionally, while this grant is ostensibly to help businesses implement new vaccine passport verification systems, Kenney says businesses can use the money however they see fit.

“This funding is designed to help offset the cost of implementing the restrictions exemption program, but eligible businesses will be able to use this funding… in the way they see fit,” said Kenney.

This favouritism by the province signifies a clear shift towards apartheidism, not only punishing businesses who refuse to discriminate based on medical status but actively supporting those who do discriminate.

“For many small businesses out there, there’s uncertainty for them,” said Minister of Jobs, Economy and Innovation Doug Schweitzer.

“That’s why we’re moving on this legislation, to provide absolute certainty so they can put in place a vaccine mandate for their workers, as well as implement the REP program without worrying about frivolous lawsuits coming their way.”

Lastly, the Alberta government will also be doubling the fine for all those who refuse to comply with the oppressive regime’s new regulations from $2,000 to $4,000.

“Alberta workers deserve to be treated with respect as they do their jobs on the frontlines to implement the Restrictions Exemption Program, said the disgraced former Health Minister Tyler Shandro.
